Mmmm, it certainly is leaning in your first pic, can’t see or think what might cause it.
Can you take the big thumb screw out and dismantle the clip assembly, it could be something trapped in there between the ratchet discs and when tightened it causes it to tilt.
Just taking that bit apart, cleaning it and putting back together might solve the problem.
If you have a macro setting on your camera, a flower symbol, that will allow you to take fairly close up shots without being blurry.
Let us know how you get on.
I’m not picturing what you mean, can you post a photo?
Is it the angle adjustment that is being unscrewed & then tightened?
Bit Trip Saga 3DS, it is a bit trippy.
Resi Mercs 3DS, blasting away again on that one.
Pullblox (Pushmo) 3DS from eSHop.
999 on DS.
Blast corps, N64, I keep firing it up again for another blast, I did have golds on everything, but that was a borrowed cart back in the day, have recently picked myself up a copy so trying again, but not doing so well. I think its down to the amount of time i play these days, it can’t be even 25% of what i did 15 to 20 years ago, damn this thing they call working for a living.
Wii, got nothing on the go, maybe bit of Goo now and again.
I would recommend a Flashboy, can play any game that has been dumped to a ROM.
KR155E or Minestorm could help you out.
Welcome to PVB, you chosen a top site, knowledgeable, helpful folks, friendly.
Looking like I only have 1 off these left now.
Please let me know if anyone wants one as I will get another batch done, maybe if a list can get started I can send out a load when it reaches 10 names and do the same again, keep the list going and each 10 names I can get another batch made.
@ TheForce81 & glaros : I sent yours out on Friday, please let me know when you get em.
@ colesonwilson:
If one of my stand fix kits helps you to sell a working set up with a good stand for more bucks then I am happy to send you one out for free, just pm your address and I’ll get one off, usually takes about a week to get to US.
Played a few totally kak games in my years but one that stands out as just complete and utter toss was
Rock n roll adventures on Wii.
Had the mis-fortune of being given this, the gifter is no gamer, knew we (me and my wife) had a Wii, knew we liked a bit of Elvis (an Elvis minister married us in Vegas) and thought it would be a good purchase, shame, I didn’t have the heart to say how bad it was, well still is I haven’t got rid of it, I couldn’t live with myself knowing a second hand copy was out there and some poor sucka would maybe buy it.
The ‘game’ seems broken, as well as badly made, badly animated, bad graphics (never something that usually puts me off, chuckie egg was no feast for the eyes but i played it to death), just plain bad, total wii cash-in.
Thanks for the feedback chaps, this was only a design using stuff i got here at work, its not practical as it uses existing bits, but like Runnerpack says a clamping mech could be designed, another project.
I might make one of these up some time to see if it works, but its not high on my priorities so could take a while.
I’ll figure out a rough price for what i have done and let you all know. 🙂

I don’t own a 3DS so I have little knowledge of its eShop games but I heard from a friend that a game called Mutant Mudds (from the eShop) has a bonus level that is in tribute to the Virtual Boy; he says it is like a (fittingly red/black) platformer for the VBAnyone in the PVB community play this game?
I just downloaded the demo version from the US eShop and spotted a small red vector like doorway in one of the levels they give you, then remembered this post, managed to get to the door and yay it is a full on VB type level, all red and black.
I’m sure there are some photos online somewhere by now.
Still its cool to play in 3D in red and black on the handheld.

I wonder if it could be polished or enhanced with some transparent acrylic paint…Looks nice!
There are a lot of different materials, did you choose the “Red Strong and Flexible”? Wonder how it would look in “Black Detail”…
Yep the red strong flex was the stuff.
The texture is down to the detail they can achieve, the smallest wall thickness was 0.7mm and the smallest detail was 0.3mm for that material. I don’t think a layer of lacquer would help it, needs to be made to a finer detail.
I did submit these to http://www.mediacopy.co.uk, another company who do alot finer detail, 0.013mm, but the cost was about 5x as much, maybe more.
Shapeways stuff is good and does work but its just not quite detailed enough for my liking currently.
I can put the plain cart cases in my Shapeways shop if anyone did want to get some done, if you do i get a little bit of shop credit for each sold.
I’ll sort some blanks out and put them up then post a link to it here, I could add engraving if anyone wanted, just would need some details then i could make a model, upload it to shapeways and then whoever wanted could buy it from there.
…..and here are some inner pics.

No joke here, its the real thing, I’ll open it up and take some inner pics later.

My mother is getting swarmed with medical bills, I unfortunately may be listing some items shortly.Nothing comes before VB for me, except the health of my loved ones (that includes you guys).
My mom came out of surgery this afternoon and gave me a call. The problems weren’t resolved at all, but I trust you can still understand what a relief that was for me.
One day at a time, eh?
Dude, big love out to you and yours at time like this, been through this kind of crap myself, it sucks, hope it all works out.

Virtual Boy System Kiosk/POS Display WITH Virtual Boy, $499 buy-it-now. local pick up only, NJ USA. has a cracked plastic area where the art goes, missing original art work.
OH that one again, I seem to recall it being up a while back. The ‘crack’ is not a crack its a big chunk missing, you can see in the photos. I reckon you could get that bit remade at almost any plastic fabricators, just a bit of folded polycarbonate with mount holes.
Vaughanabe13 did find connector strip off the shelf a while back

So it would just be a case of needing cases.
I recently got a quote from one of these 3D printing companies and a cart case in total is not cheap, like $40-50 for a front and back, now that could be in colours or even transparent (cost a bit more), and also could have engraved type info on but I think its a bit steep just for cart case, but if anyone wanted I would happily send them my 3D model to get some done with. I can edit it to have what ever they wanted on the front too, can be a total bespoke case if wanted.
Welcome Jonny, you totally did the right thing, Flashboy is an essential for VB gamers. I like the backup VB being bought too, its something i will do at some point, I only own 1 for now but would like another for the same reason.
Its a cool little community, very helpful souls reside here should you need help anytime.
What game carts did you get with it?
Got a fav game so far?
